Thomas Sowell gets it!
by Dr. Edwin Berry
Thomas Sowell publishes his weekly articles every Tuesday. Leading up to today, Sowell has not exactly been a fan of Donald Trump. He’s still not a fan of Donald Trump, but that’s not the point.
The point is that sooner or later, every wise person wakes up to the fact that our next president will be EITHER Donald Trump OR Hillary Clinton. No angel is going to drop in and take over as president. No third-party candidate is going to magically come from behind to win.
I don’t care if you don’t like Donald Trump as much as I like him. I care only that you know how to decide how to vote.
So today, Thomas Sowell did exactly what I have been preaching for over a year, which is as follows.
First, answer the Key Question:
Will Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton better serve America as president?
The Key Question is relative as denoted by “better.” There is no room for rants about either candidate. The question demands a comparison.
Second, vote using Aristotle’s Positive Voting Principle:
Our moral duty is to vote to achieve the most possible good, which eliminates voting for candidates who cannot win, and eliminates mandatory conditions.
Thomas Sowell answered the Key Question by noting, while Donald Trump may not be perfect or ideal, we must look at his competition, Hillary Clinton, who is not exactly Mother Teresa.
Sowell concludes we must vote for Donald Trump for president of the United States of America.
And if you are as smart and wise as Thomas Sowell, you will do the same thing.
PS: And while you are at it, vote for the other Republicans also.
PPS: Right Side Broadcasting Network will do live updates of the election returns tonight. They also have videos of all Donald Trump’s speeches.
I couldn't agree more!
