Today, I rowed 500 m in 1:49.6 for world first place in age group. – Ed

Congratulations on a top performance Ed! A great sport! I too have a past history in rowing Down Under (1960's to early 1970's) at Haberfield Rowing Club in Sydney (now known as UTS Haberfield) in coxless pairs, fours and eights. Still on the 'water' as it were, but I switched to racing 14' Catamarans in the mid 70's and am still racing through the summer months in the Land of Oz.
