Chuck Baldwin and Stewart Rhodes, both residents of Flathead Valley, Montana, profess to be conservative but their actions work to help Obama and Democrats and not Romney and Republicans. Don’t follow them.
This election will be very close and America’s freedom hangs by a thread.
America’s next president will be either Romney or Obama whether we like it or not. And if you are not for Romney then you are for Obama.
A recent Rasmussen poll of national leanings shows 46% will vote for Obama, 48% will vote for Romney, 4% are undecided, and 2% say they will vote for a third-party or not at all. These 2% are conservatives and they may turn the US election from Romney to Obama. If they do, they will have to explain their votes to their children and grandchildren.
Republican candidates in the US states depend upon a national movement to vote Romney and Republican on the whole ballot.
In Montana, the situation is more serious.
In Montana, the 2% is about 5%. Montana Ron Paul supporters must wake up and support our Republican candidates or they will lose Montana.
They are the ones who think they can achieve their political goals by being Lone Rangers. They are the dissatisfied Ron Paul supporters who will not help their own conservative cause by supporting Romney.
They say “do not vote for the lesser of 2 evils.”
Read Gary DeMar’s, A Response to the ‘No Lesser of Two Evils’ Crowd.
They claim there is not a “dime’s worth of difference” between Romney and Obama, or between Republicans and Democrats. Such opinions belong in the fictitious world of absolutes but not in our relativistic world of reality.
Read Gary Duigon’s, Down with the Democrats.
Ron Paul will not endorse Mitt Romney. This puts Ron Paul in the 2%.
Gary Johnson dropped out of the Republican Presidential primary. Now he is running as the Libertarian nominee for president. Gary is now in the 2% who are inadvertently working to elect Obama.
There is no chance America will elect Johnson. But there is a chance Johnson could turn a state like New Hampshire from Romney to Obama if enough voters are foolish enough to follow Baldwin and Rhodes.
This election will be very close and America’s freedom hangs by a thread.
America’s next president will be either Romney or Obama whether you like it or not. And if you are not for Romney then you are for Obama.
Chuck Baldwin’s rants against Republicans can sabotage the efforts of his son, Tim Baldwin, to win a tight race for Montana’s House District 4. Chuck Baldwin’s “tip of the spear” will stab conservatives and not liberals if he does not wake up in time.
There is just as big a difference between Montana Republican Governor candidate Rick Hill and his opponent Steve Bullock and there is between Romney and Obama. This holds true for all the Republican candidates in Montana. It is time for all conservatives to support all our Republican candidates. Send them money.
Kurt Schlichter, writing in Breitbart.com makes this point very well:
There is no more time for games, no room for hurt feelings. Ron Paul fans, you need to choose, because not voting for Romney is a vote for Obama. It’s that simple. And you could make the difference.
Maybe Romney isn’t the uncompromising Ayn Rand hero you’d design if you could build your ideal candidate from scratch, but he’s a lot better than [Obama].
Making no choice in this election is a choice – it’s a choice for a collectivist who will get two or three Supreme Court picks over a man who picked a guy, Paul Ryan, who understands capitalism and its unbreakable link to human freedom.
Mitt Romney is working to convince the 4% undecided to vote Republican. The 2% need to cut Romney some slack because it is impossible to send a message to the electorate that will resonate with the 4% and also with the 2%.
Kurt Schlichter continues:
The Republicans are not libertarians, but at least libertarian-conservatives make up an influential and growing part of the party. There are exactly zero “libertarian-liberals.”
That’s why it’s silly to dismiss Romney as no different than Obama.
This is no time to “make a statement” or pout that Ron Paul got treated badly in Tampa.
Priorities, people. Nothing less than the Constitution is at stake here.
No choice is a choice, and with the polls showing a dead-even race every vote that does not go to Romney is effectively a vote for Obama. There’s no debate here; you opt out and you support Obama by default. How can any principled libertarian do that?
Don’t be the guy in 20 years who looks over his shoulder to make sure no policemen are listening and then says to his kids,
“Back in 2012, I was mad because Ron Paul lost and then got disrespected. I loved the Constitution, but I was mad, and so I let the guy who hated the Constitution win. I’m sorry. I am so, so sorry.”
Support and vote for Mitt Romney, or help Obama complete his transformation of America into a nation that violates every principle you claim you embrace.
I am going to get a little Biblical here to help make my point.
I in no way profess to be a Bible scholar. (I am a physicist and what do physicists know about the Bible?) Yet, this message is well-known, very clear, and powerful. From Answers.com:
Mat 7:15 – Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Mat 7:16 – Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Mat 7:17 – Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Mat 7:18 – A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Mat 7:19 – Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Mat 7:20 – Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Chuck Baldwin and Stewart Rhodes are working to stop their followers from voting for Romney and Republicans. As result, they will cause the exact opposite of what they are preaching. Their fruits, therefore, are evil.
Here is my parable:
You are very thirsty and you have 3 glasses of water before you.
The first glass represents the Democratic Party and Obama. Its water is dirty and it has a poison that will cause you to wither and die in 4 years.
The second glass represents the Republican Party and Romney. Its water is equally dirty but it will not make you sick or cause you to die. Drink it and you will live to fight another day.
The third glass represents your third-party candidate. Its water is clear water but it has a poison that will kill you on November 7, 2012.
From which glass will you drink?
If all you can see is that the water in the Democrat glass is as dirty as the Republican glass, and you drink from the Independent glass, you, and possibly your America, will die on November 7.
Chuck Baldwin and Steward Rhodes are asking you to drink from the Independent glass. Don’t do it!
Here is an example diatribe by Chuck Baldwin:
But the problem is a Romney-Ryan administration will do nothing to change the downward spiral of the nation. They will continue the fanatical interventionist, preemptive war policies of Obama and Bush. They will also continue to build and construct the Orwellian domestic Police State–and as Sonny and Cher sang, “The Beat Goes On.”
And here is one by Stewart Rhodes:
Anyone who thinks we have time to play politics for another election cycle, or two or three, is delusional. And even if that were not so, folding and supporting the “lesser of two evils” is still supporting evil. Romney is an oath breaking traitor. You vote for him, or support him, you become one too.
