The Blaze reported 75 US House Republicans (see below for their names) voted with 182 Democrats to pass the US Senate’s “clean” version of the DHS bill without the provision to defund Obama’s unconstitutional immigration plan.
The final vote was 257 to 167. The 167 were all Republicans. Montana’s Congressman Ryan Zinke was among them.
Now I get to make a point to Montana’s Tea-Party Republicans: I told you so.
I told you before November’s election that Ryan Zinke would be the best conservative Congressman Montana ever elected. But you would not support Ryan Zinke because he “was not good enough” for you.
Oath Keepers National Chaplain, Chuck Baldwin, wrote a diatribe against Republican Ryan Zinke and told you to vote for Democrat John Lewis. In reply, I wrote, “Chuck Baldwin is wrong about Ryan Zinke.”
Some Tea-Party voters would not support Ryan Zinke because Zinke was “not pro-life enough” for them. These people deny facts and logic. Here is what I wrote about Zinke’s prolife position in my reply to Baldwin’s attack on Zinke:
NARAL scored Zinke 0% because he was the only candidate to carry the “Assault on Unborn Victims” bill in the Montana Senate. Montana Family Foundation scored Zinke 90%, the Montana Women’s lobby 20%, and the Human Rights Network 25%, which are excellent pro-life scores. Zinke is endorsed by the National Right to Life Committee.
Montana Senator Matt Rosendale, who lost to Ryan Zinke in the primary election last June, would not support Ryan Zinke after the primary election.
James Conner reported on the April 19, 2014, Oath Keepers rally in Kalispell where Tea-Party candidates Matt Rosendale, Derek Skees, Mike Hebert, and Jerry O’Neil joined Chuck Baldwin as speakers. All these Tea-Party candidates were losers. Lesson: don’t link your political career to Oath Keepers and Chuck Baldwin.
Now, these Tea-Party losers oppose Montana’s CSKT Water Compact.
Why is their opposition not surprising? Senator Matt Rosendale voted NO on the Compact. Derek Skees, Mike Hebert, and Jerry O’Neil testified against the Compact.
In an act of divine poetic justice, O’Neil lost to a Democrat because of Libertarian voters who should have voted for O’Neil. That changed O’Neil’s sure NO on the Compact in Montana’s House to the Democrat’s sure YES vote. Will this be the vote that passes the Water Compact?
