Ryan Zinke supports Keystone Pipeline

RyanZ2Montana Congressman Ryan Zinke (R-MT) said:

“Montanans expect their lawmakers to do what they say, and say what they do. To me, a vote against the Keystone is a vote against Montana. I’m a proud co-sponsor of the House bill to build the Keystone XL Pipeline because it is proven to be safe and in the best interest of Montana. I will always put Montana before raising money from special interests in Washington, D.C.”

Politico reported: The Senate has passed legislation to approve the Keystone XL pipeline with a 62-36 vote.

“Nine Democrats joined every Republican in supporting the bill that would yank the decision on the $8 billion pipeline from the president, who plans to veto the measure.

“First, House Republican leaders must decide whether to vote on the Senate bill or begin talks to merge it with their version of the bill that was passed earlier this month.”

  1. Zinke doesn’t support the right of private property owners. He thinks Montana should be able to control our property, as well as the Federal government. The legislative majority in Helena is doing nothing to protect our property rights, and never has. I will not support those who do not support my rights. Why does Zinke support more laws against the Constitution? He says he swore an oath to uphold and defend, but he is like the U.S. Supreme Court, telling us the fathers didn’t know what they were writing in drafting our owners manuel. Why does Ed support this?

  2. @1 Dear Ed, You have made your claims but can you make your case? What is your evidence to support your claims?

Here is an example of how Congressman Zinke wants to allow us to develop energy resources on Federal land:

A large portion of our state’s oil and gas resources are located beneath federally
owned lands managed by the BLM and Forest Service. We need to make sure
the federal government isn’t blocking leases and access and make sure that
permits are being addressed in a timely manner.

If you simply search “Ryan Zinke property rights” you will find VoteSmart gives Zinke 90 percent on property rights. The rating comes from the United Property Owners of Montana.

This rating puts Zinke near the top and, if you look at the rating order, you will find almost all Democrats are in the bottom going as low as 20 percent. Yes, there is a giant difference between Republicans and Democrats as these and other data prove.

These data suggest your opinion has no foundation in truth and is therefore worthless. Isn’t it time you start searching for the truth before you form your opinions?
