Robert Petersen (Daily Inter Lake, Jan 31) writes “Look east at the glaciers that are no longer there,” to support his belief our CO2 causes global warming. He does not understand cause and effect.
He assumes the almost linear decrease in Glacier Park glaciers since 1830 means our SUVs caused the decrease. Sorry, effect cannot precede the cause. Nature causes glacier change, not our CO2.
He assumes today’s temperatures are the highest in thousands of years. Sorry. Not even close.
He assumes warmer weather proves our CO2 caused it. Sorry. Effects do not prove their cause.
He writes, “Educate yourself.” Yes, indeed. Start with good data. Use good science to determine cause and effect. You will find that nature, not our CO2, drives climate.
A short, total rebuttal to climate alarmism
Aztec priests told people they must cut out their beating hearts to bring better climate for their crops. The people believed them.
Today’s climate priests tell people they must cut out their CO2 emissions and pay penances to other nations, like China, to save our climate. The people believe them.
It’s time for you to think for yourself.
I will show you physics “secrets” that will change everything you “believe” about climate.
The real climate debate is about the scientific method. This is the critical “philosophy” part of science that most people and many scientists do not understand.
To help us understand the scientific method, let’s drop in on a fictitious federal murder trial in San Francisco. [Read more…]

It used to be environmentalism was a good thing. Then they made it synonymous with the climate change religion. Now it is no longer a good thing. It’s a very bad thing because it’s a harmful lie.
Oh. I called it a “religion.” Well, Ivar Giaever also called climate change alarmism a religion. Giaever is a Democrat who won the 1973 Nobel Prize in Physics. It’s a religion because you “believe” it on faith rather than on physical evidence.
Just to claim climate has changed or glaciers have melted does not make your case. You must show evidence our carbon dioxide emissions and not nature caused the changes you claim.
The only evidence climate alarmists have to support their case is hearsay. Somebody told somebody told somebody … and so ad infinitum. Therefore, they claim, it’s true.
The alarmists’ fallback position is to claim 97 percent of atmospheric scientists say it’s true. Well, that’s another lie. Climate alarmists use lies to support their other lies. [Read more…]
