In a news cycle where the lack of transparency is revealed daily, it is refreshing when something previously opaque exposes its true motives. Such is the case for the Sierra Club and its desire to block oil and gas drilling.
I’ve written many times on environmental groups’ influence over use of public lands and how they often use claims of some endangered flora or fauna as cover for their efforts to block any beneficial economic development, such as mineral extraction or agricultural activity. They cry about some critter when in fact it is really about control—control of public lands. It is this very tactic that was the impetus for my “Smash the Watermelons” initiative.
Everywhere I speak, I give out bumper stickers with the slogan and pens with a green barrel, but that write with red ink. Imprinted on the pen is:
“Green on the outside, red on the inside. SmashTheWatermelons.org” [Read more…]

Pew Research put together an excellent 13-question test of your general science knowledge. There is no specialty science here. Every elected official and every high-school graduate should score 100 percent on this test. I say “should” not “did.”
After you complete the test, you can see the demographic scores. Some demographics jump out. There is one simple question that 80 percent of the people missed. I think this low score is due to government-environmental propaganda.
Senior citizens did the worst of all age groups except for one question where the 18-29 scored worse than all other age groups. This will surprise you.

The direct link between Agenda 21 and local planners
When the fight started against Agenda 21, those of us working to expose it were largely ignored by the main stream media and even the established Conservative movement and its media. Too far out there, they said, to be taken seriously.
Then, as more and more Americans began to experience the dire effects of Sustainable Development in their daily lives, suddenly our message began to take hold. Today, thousands of Americans have taken up the fight. And anti-Agenda 21 activists are storming planning meetings, demanding answers. State legislatures and even some county and city governments are passing legislation against it. It seems the Agenda 21 fight is everywhere. [Read more…]

Hello, this is Wayne Allyn Root for Personal Liberty. I just returned from New York, where I attended my 30th Columbia University reunion. I celebrated with my esteemed classmates. Everyone except Barack Obama. As usual, he wasn’t there.
Not even a video greeting. Not a personalized letter to his classmates. Nothing. But worse, no one I met at our 30th reunion ever met him. The President of the United States is the ghost of Columbia University.
“…I can’t see either of these papers being in the next IPCC report. Kevin [Trenberth] and I will keep them out somehow, even if we have to redefine what the peer-review literature is!” —Phil Jones, Director of the Climatic Research Unit, July 8, 2004

Climatism, the belief that man-made greenhouse gases are destroying Earth’s climate, is on the wane. Once riding high, the ideology of man-made climate change is losing its influence in governments across the world.
Climategate, the release of e-mails from the University of East Anglia, called the science of dangerous warming into question and turned the tide of global opinion.
On November 19, 2009, and unidentified hacker or internal whistle-blower downloaded more than 1,000 documents and e-mails from the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) at East Anglia University in the United Kingdom and posted them on a server in Russia. Within hours, these documents were accessed by websites around the world.
These e-mails were a subset of confidential communications between top climate scientists in the United Kingdom, the United States, and other nations over the last fifteen years. These were the very same scientists that developed the surface temperature data sets, promoted the Mann Hockey Stick Curve, and wrote and edited the core of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) assessment reports. In 2006, when I lived in Sacramento, I used to hang out at the American River College (ARC) track. One summer day, Coach Mike Reid, ARC track coach, invited me to train with his track team, which is like driving your family car in a NASCAR race.
Though the college runners were way beyond my speed grade, Coach Mike and his assistant Coach Ray, helped me improve my running speed well beyond what I thought would be possible.
Recently, Coach Mike Reid earned a well-deserved credit. In 2010 and 2011, he coached Sacramento sprinter Diondre Batson, now the “World’s fastest man in 2013“. Diondre Batson credits Coach Mike Reid with encouraging him to continue his track and field career after incurring an injury in a high school track event.
Running under Coach Mike, Batson set the ARC records for 100 meters (10.10 seconds), 200 meters (20.50 seconds), and with teammates Bracin Walker, Greg Turner and Keven Brown, the 4×100 meter relay (39.78 seconds).
When Diondre Batson wins the 100 and 200 meter sprints in the 2016 Olympics, you will remember he began his track career under Coach Mike Reid. [Read more…]

A Tea Party “patriot” circulated an email with this subject:
“Baucus among Traitors (46 of them voted to give up our 2nd Amendment Right to the UN)”
If you read my May 20 post, “There’s not a dimes worth of difference between Republicans and Democrats” then you already know this email is about the US Senate vote of March 23, 2013, on Senator Inhofe’s (R) Amendment #139 to the Senate Congressional Resolution 8, the Budget for FY 2014:
“To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.”
The US Senate approved Inhofe’s amendment 53 to 46. A close vote for freedom.
But I will tell you a little SECRET: Some Tea Party bags WON’T READ PolyMontana … On purpose!
Why? Because I tell the truth and they can’t stand the truth. They want me to support every right-wing extremist, irrational action they make or I am not in their club. [Read more…]
